Student Parliament Experience
@ my high school
Applied to student parliament 3 times during my high school junior and senior years. When I was accepted at the 3rd time, the priminister at 2021 said she and the parliament weightiness my growth since the two rejections, and believe that I will be a good fit in parliament.
I was never discouraged by temporary failure, and always believed that I am capable of picking up the leadership role to make positive changes.
The picture on the left is me, as a member of ministry of athletic, standing on the stage announcing the returning of student athletes after pandemic, during a student lead assembly. The red hoodie I was wearing is the parliament hoodie. "MP" means Member of Parliament.

The Title - Screaming Tree
The Fall 2021 parliament had a camping event located in the Squamish area (a first nation group in Canada).
In one of the game, we were asked to pick a tree, cover our eyes, spinning for a while, hold our partners hand, and find the tree again with their help. I purposely lead my partner to hug someone else's partner for fun. My partner screamed as the other person touched him, and the other person asked, "Wow, Screaming Tree?". Everyone laughed continuously for 1 minute.
Later on, "Screaming Tree" became the commonly agreed one, when we were asked to create a team name.

This camping isn't just a league construction event, it taught me a lot of Squamish people and how to respect and appreciate their land. I was currently fighting a pulmonary disease, and my symptom of coughing gradually decreases after three days of living in forest. That's when I had the epiphany that environment is super important.
